klarx is a digital construction logistics company: we plan and manage all rental equipment on a construction site along with the surrounding services — from a network of over 530,000 construction machines across 275 product categories and from our own inventory.
Our customers are increasingly building in Italy. The expansion of renewable energy is set to make Italy the second-largest market in Europe after Germany by 2027, and our existing customers are already on the ground with their projects.
You manage these projects. You are the Italian voice of klarx: you speak with local rental partners in their language, advise our customers on their equipment needs, and take end-to-end responsibility for Italian rental operations.
You work primarily remote from Italy or Germany and collaborate closely with the team in Munich. Head of Operations, Key Account Management, and Partnership Management are your sparring partners — on the customer side, for partner terms, and for everything that doesn’t yet have an answer in the new market. You make many decisions independently, but you are never alone in doing so.
What You`ll Be Doing
- Partner management and development: You approach rental partners in focus regions, negotiate terms together with Partnership Management, and build reliable relationships with the stations.
- Customer advisory: You clarify equipment needs, operating conditions, and timelines with our customers and their project managers — in close coordination with Key Account Management, which holds the customer relationship in Germany. Site visits happen when a project calls for them.
- End-to-end project ownership: You take full responsibility for Italian rental operations — procurement, logistics, ongoing support, returns, and invoicing.
- Market understanding: You identify which regions, customer segments, and equipment categories are viable.
- Bridge role: You translate between the Italian market and German processes — in both directions, operationally and culturally.
- Continuous improvement: You identify what doesn’t work in our processes for the Italian market and develop optimized solutions.
